Description
A high quality thermal insulator developed for motorsport applications that provides effective protection against thermal radiation and improves the thermal performance of components in catalytic converters and DPF/OPF particle filters.
The thermal barrier consists of a 0,1 mm embossed outer stainless steel jacket and a 4-12 mm thick high temperature resistant inner fibre insulation.
The thinness of the materials ensures the lightness of the insulation and their high quality ensures longevity at temperatures above 1000C.
The insulation can be used in all components exposed to high temperatures, such as exhaust manifolds, exhaust pipes, silencers, catalytic converters, DPFs and OPFs.
