Description
Weldable inconel heat shields / insulations for exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds, commonly used in WRC, WTCC, RX Supercar and F1 cars.
The lower layer is a 10mm thick fiber glass reinforced ceramic wool, and the top layer is a 0.2mm inconel 625 LCF panel.
The combination has a heat resistance of 1600°C.
The wool is fully sealed under the inconel 625 LCF panel and so will not wear or get damaged.
Micro-welded Inconel heat shields are custom jobs and priced individually.
