WRC style Dual Plenum intake manifold DIY kit for Toyota Supra 2JZ-GTE engine .

MW Steel’s dual-plenum intake manifold delivers consistent pressure and flow to all cylinders, enabling maximum engine power and torque output and longevity. The consistency of pressure and flow is based on the Swiss physicist Bernoulli’s law , according to which pressure decreases in a narrowing pipe while the flow rate of liquids and gases increases. It is easier to tune the engine when all cylinders have consistent air-fuel ratios and can be set to the same optimal ignition timing. The engine operates harmoniously as a whole, making it easier to avoid knocking and other adverse effects that reduce engine reliability and lifespan.

The high-quality components of the DIY DP intake manifold kit are made of lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant, and highly machinable and weldable 6082 aluminum, which is 5 times stronger than pure aluminum.

The conical tube can be positioned flexibly in the pressure housing depending on the inlet side of the supercharger (front or rear) and to adapt to the space in the engine room (left or right).

The delivery includes the following parts for building the Toyota Supra 2JZ-GTE engine intake manifold:

    • CNC machined engine-specific, dimensionally accurate aluminum intake manifold flange
    • weldable boost pressure housing halves for secondary plenum
    • 6 accelerator funnels for the pressure housing, to promote airflow
    • 6 profiled runners between flange and pressure housing
    • conical pipe for primary plenum
    • Flow-optimized end cup and inlet side cover plate for the narrow end of the conical pipe
    • Cone pipe flow slot support bar to prevent slot expansion under high pressures
    • detailed construction and welding instructions

Note! The components of the building kit are welded with AC-TIG.
