MWS motorsport's WRC-style Dual Plenum 2-chamber intake manifold universal DIY build kit comprising a conical tube (primary chamber) and pressure box (secondary chamber).
This DP-intake manifold complies with Swiss physicist Bernoulli's Principle , whereby in a tapered/conical pipe, the pressure of liquids and gases decreases while their flow speed increases.
This results in uniform pressure and air flow distribution across all cylinders, enabling the use of equal and optimal ignition advances for all cylinders alike, resulting in maximum power, torque and engine longevity.
The DP-intake manifold is designed carefully to maximize Bernoulli's airflow effect.
As a result, the engine will run harmoniously, with reduced knocking and other non-desired stress factors, that compromise engine reliability and lifetime.
The build kit components are of lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and highly machinable and weldable Al-6082 grade aluminium alloy, which is 5 times stronger than pure aluminum.
The cone tube can be flexibly positioned on the pressure box, facing front or back, according to the boost pipe entry direction, and left or right, according to available space in the engine compartment.
The delivery includes covers for both ends of the cone tube (flow-optimized cap for narrow end and cover plate for inlet end) as well as a support rod for the cone's exit slit to prevent the slit from expanding under extreme high pressure conditions.
