The item includes MWS motorsport designed and fabricated conical Dual Plenum 2-chamber intake manifold specific for Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine.<\/p>\n
It is made of lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant Al-6082 grade high quality aluminum alloy, which is 5 times stronger than pure aluminum.<\/p>\n
This carefully designed DP-intake manifold\u2019s operation is based on Swiss physicist Bernoulli\u2019s Principle , whereby in a tapered\/conical pipe, the pressure of liquids and gases decreases while their flow speed increases.<\/p>\n
This effect results in uniform pressure and air flow distribution across all cylinders for maximum power, torque and engine longevity.<\/p>\n
With all cylinders receiving equal amount of air, they can be set with the same optimized ignition advances.<\/p>\n
As a consequence, the engine will run harmoniously pushing out full power, and making it easier to avoid knocking and other non-desired effects compromising engine reliability and lifetime.<\/p>\n
The DP-intake manifold consists of the following components:<\/p>\n
CNC-machined engine-specific made-to-fit aluminum intake manifold flange<\/p>\n
conical tube forming the primary plenum<\/p>\n
pressure box forming the secondary plenum<\/p>\n
6 pcs. profiled runner pipes between pressure box and intake manifold flange<\/p>\n
Note: Contrary to the pictures, the delivery does not include a DBW throttle body<\/p>\n
