These Terms and Conditions apply to installation, maintenance, repair, fabrication, modification, design, adjustment, diagnostics and other services provided by MW Steel Oy unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/p>\n
The scope of work is determined by the quotation, work order, order confirmation or other assignment agreed with the customer.<\/p>\n
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided to MW Steel.<\/p>\n
Work is charged according to the agreed fixed price, estimate or time spent.<\/p>\n
For work charged by the hour, the customer will be invoiced for labour time together with materials, spare parts, supplies, subcontracted work and other costs relating to the assignment.<\/p>\n
Any estimate is based on the information available when the work is accepted.<\/p>\n
The customer will be informed of significant additional work identified during the assignment before such work is carried out.<\/p>\n
Minor additional work and materials necessary for proper completion of the assignment may be carried out without separate approval.<\/p>\n
Additional work, materials and supplies are charged separately.<\/p>\n
The customer is responsible for the suitability, correctness and condition of any parts supplied by the customer.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may refuse to install a part where there is reasonable doubt regarding its suitability, condition or safety.<\/p>\n
Additional work caused by an incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable customer-supplied part will be charged according to the time spent.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for the function, quality or durability of parts supplied by the customer.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for defects, damage, wear, deficiencies, previous installations or modifications existing before the work begins.<\/p>\n
If a defect or deficiency affecting the work is identified during the assignment, MW Steel may suspend the work until further action has been agreed with the customer.<\/p>\n
Diagnostic work is charged according to the time spent, materials used and other costs incurred.<\/p>\n
Time spent on diagnostics is chargeable regardless of whether the cause of the fault is identified during the assignment.<\/p>\n
Repair of the identified fault is charged separately unless it has been agreed as part of the assignment.<\/p>\n
Any stated completion date is an estimate unless expressly agreed in writing as binding.<\/p>\n
Additional work discovered during the assignment, availability of spare parts, subcontracting and other factors affecting the work may change the completion date.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may suspend work if continuation is not technically appropriate or safe, if a decision is required from the customer, or if the customer has overdue payments to MW Steel.<\/p>\n
Work completed, materials used and costs incurred up to the suspension will be invoiced.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may operate, start, move, test drive and test a vehicle or other equipment to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the work and verify the result.<\/p>\n
No warranty is provided for work, installations, adjustments or modifications intended for tuning, motorsport or competition use unless a warranty has been separately agreed in writing.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is responsible for carrying out the agreed work in accordance with the assignment.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for the durability or failure of the vehicle, engine, transmission or other parts and components during tuning, motorsport or competition use.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for damage caused by deficiencies in other vehicle systems, previous modifications, incompatible components, adjustments or the manner in which the vehicle is used.<\/p>\n
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered modifications, installed products and the vehicle as a whole comply with applicable road traffic, registration, inspection, emissions and other regulatory requirements for the intended use.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for the approval of the vehicle or any modification for road use or vehicle inspection unless such approval has been expressly agreed in writing as part of the assignment.<\/p>\n
If the assignment specifically concerns a modification intended to meet road-use approval requirements, the scope of work and any approval, documentation or inspection requirements will be agreed separately.<\/p>\n
Custom-designed and fabricated products and solutions are produced based on the agreed information and requirements.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may make minor technical changes required for implementation provided that they do not materially alter the agreed result.<\/p>\n
Changes requested by the customer during the work are charged as additional work.<\/p>\n
Any defect relating to the work must be reported to MW Steel as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.<\/p>\n
MW Steel must be given the opportunity to inspect the work subject to the claim before repair or modification is carried out.<\/p>\n
If an inspection or diagnostic procedure relating to a claim establishes that the claim is unfounded, MW Steel may charge for the time spent on the inspection or diagnostics.<\/p>\n
Services are invoiced according to the agreed payment terms.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may invoice long-term or extensive work in stages as the work progresses.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may require advance payment for spare parts, materials, subcontracted work or part of the estimated total cost.<\/p>\n
Late payments are subject to statutory late-payment interest and applicable collection costs.<\/p>\n
Spare parts, materials and supplies used in the work are charged separately unless included in the agreed price.<\/p>\n
Title to products sold remains with MW Steel Oy until all payments relating to those products have been paid in full.<\/p>\n
The customer must collect the vehicle, equipment or other property held by MW Steel at the agreed time or after notification that the work has been completed.<\/p>\n
MW Steel may charge a storage fee if the property is not collected within a reasonable period after completion has been notified.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is responsible for the work performed in accordance with the agreed assignment.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for damage or defects caused by customer-supplied parts, existing defects or modifications, normal wear, improper use, insufficient maintenance or modifications made after completion of the work.<\/p>\n
Work relating to tuning, motorsport and competition use is additionally subject to section 10 of these Terms.<\/p>\n
In agreements with business customers, MW Steel is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including downtime, interruption of production, loss of revenue or loss of profit.<\/p>\n
MW Steel is not responsible for delay or failure to perform contractual obligations where this results from an unforeseeable event beyond MW Steel’s reasonable control.<\/p>\n
The Terms in force at the time the service or assignment is ordered apply to that assignment.<\/p>\n
MW Steel reserves the right to amend these Terms for future assignments.<\/p>\n
The agreement is governed by Finnish law.<\/p>\n
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiations between the parties.<\/p>\n
