M190 is the most powerful and comprehensive “general-purpose” engine control unit in the M1 series. It is designed for extremely demanding applications requiring a vast amount of I/O capacity, advanced control strategies, and the ability to manage highly complex engine and vehicle systems. The M190 harnesses the full potential of the M1 platform, offering most of what MoTeC has to offer in a single unit.
M190 is capable of controlling up to 12 injectors (Peak & Hold or Low Side) and 12 ignition coils, making it suitable for V12 engines or engines utilizing more than one injection event per cylinder. It also offers 6 low-side outputs and 10 half-bridge outputs, which can be used for almost any auxiliary vehicle system, such as additional fans, pumps, water injection, transmission control, traction control, and more. Furthermore, a vast number of analog voltage and temperature inputs (17 analog voltage inputs, 6 analog temperature inputs), 12 universal digital inputs, 4 digital inputs, and 4 knock inputs are available. This allows for comprehensive data collection from all engine and vehicle functions.
At the time of purchase, an M1 ECU needs to be Licensed for use with a particular Package or a Development License.
The available M190 ECU+SW packages are:
- RX/Rally “R” package
- FIA-RX package
- DEV (Development License)
